Spring break is right around. And with spring break comes mid-terms. On Friday, I met with my supervisor at the Ronald McDonald to discuss my progress so far this semester. I showed her the projects that I had already completed. She gave me suggestions on how to improve the publications I already completed.
The rough draft for the Pop Tab Collection flier is complete. I am still working diligently on the Volunteer Handbook. InDesign is very difficult to use because I am still getting acquainted with using it. Microsoft Publisher is much easier to use. I'm thinking about using Publisher for all of the flier visual design layouts.
Next time I go to the RMHC, I am going to work on copy-editing the original volunteer handbook and also brainstorming on a design for the handbook. Hopefully, within the next couple of weeks I will start to create the web portfolio using Google Pages or another website creator.

I'm glad that you were able to make time to meet with your supervisor and review the work you've been doing. You say: "I showed her the projects that I had already completed. She gave me suggestions on how to improve the publications I already completed." What kinds of suggestions was your supervisor making, and how might you be able to apply these suggestions to your future projects in the second half of the internship?
