On Friday, I went to the Ronald McDonald House for an hour and a half. I showed my supervisor a rough draft of a flyer I was working on for a Pop Tab collection for RMHC. She gave me some useful feedback on what to add, but overall she really like my design for the flyer. She wants to use the flyer to hang around town, but she would have to get permission from her boss.
I feel that my Editing class this semester has really helped me in my internship. I have already edited about half of the Volunteer Handbook for the RMHC. Before this class, I did not know the proper marks to make for editing a text. Now, I am getting a chance to improve my editing skills.

You have a good base of material to work with here, but try to provide more specific details in your blog posts. Providing this type of detail can help you, I think, to provide some probing analysis of the work you're doing. For example, what the the flyer for, what were your goals for the flyer, and what specific design decisions did you make to try to meet these goals? And what specific types of problems/concerns are you trying to address in the handbook?
